Download the Ebosi app from the App Store to schedule a ride. Enter your pickup and destination, choose a vehicle type, and confirm — a nearby driver is dispatched in seconds. You can also schedule rides up to 30 days in advance.
Payments to healthcare providers and driver partners are processed securely through Stripe on a weekly payout schedule. Providers can download monthly invoices and trip-level reports directly from the partner dashboard.
Yes. Ebosi supports scheduled Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) rides, including recurring dialysis, therapy, and specialist appointments. Trips can be booked by patients, caregivers, or authorized healthcare coordinators.
Ebosi launched in the Greater Houston metro and is expanding across Texas in 2026, with planned rollouts in Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio. Service area maps are available inside the app, and new markets are announced on our blog.
Yes. Ebosi operates a dedicated fleet of wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAV) with trained drivers certified in passenger-assist and securement procedures. Select the WAV ride option when booking, or have your care coordinator flag the trip as accessible.
On-demand rides can be canceled free of charge within 2 minutes of booking. After that, a small cancellation fee may apply. Scheduled medical trips should be canceled at least 2 hours before pickup to avoid a no-show fee under your provider's rate card.
For covered NEMT trips, Ebosi bills the arranging broker, managed care organization, or provider directly — riders pay nothing at the vehicle. Eligibility, authorization, and copays are determined by your plan, not by Ebosi.
Drivers must be 21 or older, hold a valid U.S. driver's license with a clean motor-vehicle record, pass a background check, and complete Ebosi's onboarding — including HIPAA basics and passenger-assist training for medical trips. Vehicles must meet year, mileage, and insurance requirements.
Yes. Ebosi operates under a Business Associate Agreement with its healthcare partners and handles protected health information in line with HIPAA. Drivers receive only the minimum information needed to complete a trip safely.
